The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada (UA) represents approximately 355,000 Plumbers, Pipefitters, Sprinkler Fitters, HVACR Service Technicians, Welders and Pipeliners working in the construction industry throughout North America.
This Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union has been representing the state of Kansas for more than 120 years. Local 441 has continued the honored tradition of those that came before by supplying the best-trained workforce in the mechanical industry.
Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union Local Union 441 is proud of our long and distinguished history in Kansas, with roots dating back to 1898. Today, with over 1,000 working members, Local 441 is dedicated to continuing the tradition of excellence that the United Association established over 100 years ago.
Local 441 currently has over 1600 members and continues to grow. Our 100+ signatory contractors appreciate having such a skilled labor force and utilize our members in plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC, and welding on jobs ranging from residential homes and small businesses to large hospitals and nuclear power plants.
Our partnership with Union mechanical contractors throughout Kansas results in an investment of over $1 million per year to make sure our workforce has the most up-to-date skills for every project — large or small. Our plumbers, pipefitters, welders, and HVAC service technicians are the best in the industry.
