Business Representative & Head Organizer Applications Needed

Business Representatives James Cottrell and Rick Salyer have both announced their retirement.  We would like to thank them both for their years of service and dedication to Local 441.

Local 441 has been awarded an Organizing Grant from the UA.

In accordance with Local 441 Bylaws, applicants for all positions must be a member in good standing for two (2) years previous to their appointment.  For a member to be eligible to be appointed as a Representative of a zone, the Member shall permanently reside within close proximity to the zone he/she is assigned to represent.  Candidates must be willing to travel and maintain valid insurance coverage on vehicles not owned by Local 441 that are utilized in the day to day business of the Local.  Coverage limits shall be in the amount of $500,000.  You must be willing to provide the Local Union Office with signed authorization to allow office staff to verify coverage at all times.  You must also provide signed authorization to allow office staff to verify that you maintain a valid driver’s license at all times.
